Kiwis are a small genus of palaeognath birds, the only current member of the Apterygidae family. This genus is made up of five species endemic to New Zealand. They are small flightless birds. Kiwis are shy, nocturnal creatures with a highly developed sense of smell. The term kiwi comes from the Maori language.

It is made of sterling silver and plated with 24K gold.
